The LDP | CV and Cover Letter Package is ideal for people who want to create a winning, modern CV in English, a compelling Cover Letter and prepare for upcoming English interviews.
The 30 minute Consultation will provide the Language Doctor with background information about you, your goals and the type of recruitment processes you are embarking on.
You will provide the Language Doctor with a current Swedish CV (and an English one if you have it) as well as any supporting documentation and information about prospective employers. The Language Doctor will create a draft CV based on this information and there will then be a dialogue and fine-tuning.
Concurrently with the preapartion of your English CV, the Language Doctor will start formulating your Cover Letter. This will be a compelling narrative of your experiences and achievements which will make your application stand out from the crowd. As with the CV, your Cover Letter will first be produced as a draft, which after a dialogue will be fine tuned into a final version.
Once the CV is complete, you and the Language Doctor will book two LDP | Interview Coaching 30 sessions.
The normal time for CV preparation is 5 to 7 working days. In acute cases, this can be reduced to 48-72 hours for an additional fee - please ask for details.

LDP | CV & Cover Letter Process
Consultation
You will receive an email from the Language Doctor with an invitation to a Teams Meeting. Accept the invitation.
If you do not have Teams installed on your computer, the link will work in a web browser. If you have Teams installed the link will open in the Teams program.
At the consultation time, click on the Teams link in the invitation to start the meeting.
All consultations are in English.
The purpose of the LDP | Consultation is to work out your starting point, needs and expectations. Please be prepared with any documents that you think might be useful. These can include:
Current CV in Swedish or English (in Word format)
Current Resumé in Swedish or English (in Word format)
Job advertisment (if available)
Information about the target company / organisation (if applicable)
CV preparation
Based on the information provided during the LDP | Consultation and documentation provided by you, the Language Doctor will create a draft CV for you in English (using Microsoft Word).
Read and comment on the draft and send feedback via email.
The Language Doctor will adjust and adapt the English CV based on this feedback and create a new draft.
Steps 1-3 will be repeated until an acceptable version is completed.
This part of the process usually take between 3 to 5 working days.
Cover Letter preparation
Based on the information provided during the LDP | Consultation, documentation provided by you, and your LDP |CV, the Language Doctor will create a draft Cover Letter for you in English (using Microsoft Word).
Read and comment on the draft and send feedback via email.
The Language Doctor will adjust and adapt the English Cover Letter based on this feedback and create a new draft.
Steps 1-3 will be repeated until an acceptable version is completed.
This part of the process usually takes between 5 to 7 working days.
Interview Coaching
The purpose of LDP | Interview Coaching is to prepare you for a specific job interview. If you are not currently in a recruitment process, the Interview Coaching can be of a general nature and give you practice in interview technique in English.
If you are in a current recruitment process, the LDP | Interview Coaching will be specific to the job you are applying for.
The LDP | Interview Coaching must be completed within two calendar months of the completion of the CV preparation.
